The Western Plains Zoo was so good and as you get 2 days entry for the purchase price we went back again today (real reason was because both our camera batteries were flat on 1st day - how can that be!) Anyway some magnificent animals are on show and they were much more co-operative in posing today!
The weather has turned really cold and we have been told there are ARTIC drifts coming through and don't we know it. Even my roll-on deodorant wouldn't roll-on this morning. Most people we chat to are headed up to Qld so the roads should be very quiet for us.

 

We are headed to West Wyalong tomorrow for 1 night and then head down to Beechworth Vic for 4 nights where the weather will really hit I'm sure as it's close to the ski fields. Will just have to warm up the rum instead. Caravan is going great and after 2 years of no travel it's amazing how everything comes back to you so easily. Currently staying at Big4 Dubbo and they give you free wi-fi for first 24hrs It didn't take us long to go to Telstra shop and buy a pre-paid USB as we spent 2 hrs trying to send 1 email through their system.
