29th May 2011
We were in Canberra for the Wedding of Jacinta, the daughter of Doug & Jennie Rodda, who made us so very welcome, with our caravan parked outside in their driveway they shared their house with us, and made us feel part of the family.
Manny, Jacinta's husband and his family also made us feel very much at home.
The wedding was held at the picturesque Gold Greek Chapel in Canberra
and the ACT's weather was superb for the special occation ..
A great time was held by all.
Doug treated me to a game of golf a few days later and was not quite so gracious, by beating me serverly as usual !! I really must get more practice in !!
It was also great to catch up with Clare's brother and his family and several friends during our brief stay.

Hi everyone, my name is Jacob Dyer and I am four weeks and two days old.
I live in Wellington New Zealand with my Mum & Dad Joanne & John
Since I arrived I have been eating, sleeping and being a good boy (well most of the time) my mum says she is going to keep me at least for a while so thing are looking up..
Grandma & Grandad have been visiting since the day after I arrived so I have been doubley well look after, and Grandma has been getting lots of cuddles which I think I could get used too !!
Tonight is the occation of the royal wedding in London so mummy has invited some of her friends to visit and my other Granny Elaine is visiting also so I can look forward to lots more attention which I think I can cope with... Tomorrow Daddy & Grandad are off to watch the rugby in Wellington at the "Cake Tin" between the Reds from Australia and the Local Hurricanes Grandad is going to be out numbered if he follows the Reds but I am sure dad and his mates will go easy on him...
Grandad & Grandma have only six days of there stay to go before going home, so are making the most of their time with me and I am enjoying their attention, however I am having trouble understanding Grandad !!! He hired a small Car whilst they have been visiting a Diahatsu Charade, with Petrol at $2.18c a litre Grandad is realy pleased as he recons it does not drink as much as me !! I think he is Scottish ?? Anyway it time for an afternoon sleep so must go before grandad beats me to it, and Gandma is tucking me in
So Bye Bro.. for now and I look forward to catching up with you all in NZ
Love From Jacob xxx
