Entrance drive to Lake Sambell at Beechworth, very picturesque and inviting. There is a paved walkway around the lake for 3kms. This caravan park was recommended by good friends Ed & Veronica - couldn't have picked a better place ourselves
Autumn, autumn, autumn so beautiful - really miss it at times. This is the "carpet" outside our van. Although it makes a mess in the van if you forget to wipe your feet, it is magnificent.
Home sweet home for 4 days. Apparently we just missed the Highlands Games held at the Amulet Vineyards which is a celebration of all things Scottish by 2 days - should've looked that one up!  Alistair heard they were hurling the Haggis so he's still out looking for them. Beautiful town and surrounds. Can't complain about the cold anymore as we heard the Brisbane temps have also dropped dramatically so I guess no more sympathy from anyone.

Love the autumn leaves, too. ..a rare sight for a born and bred Queenslander.
If you are looking for some Celtic colour, there is the national Celtic festival at Portarlington, near Geelong, on the June long weekend.
Enjoying following your travels, thank you!
