Having so much fun we've hardly had time to tell you all about it! Here we are at Burrum Heads just outside of Hervey Bay. This caravan park was definitely for the fisherman - Alistair just had to find someone to go with and wait for the tide to take him out. He definitely has his sea legs back as we went out to sea on the Whale Watching cruise for 4 hours without a hint of sea sickness - no burly for the fish!
This is the mouth of the Burrum river that looks over towards Woodgate, 15 mins by tinnie or 100 kms in the car. Friendly caravan park with good times at happy hour. Even met a woman who grew up in Canberra, worked at Defence Dept in same section as Clare, only 15 years before her time. What a small world.
